Wat the hell

The games always on sale I thought I got a bargain the first day too .,,,

Not good

Very boring.

OK game for what it is

I feel a little ripped off, having paid $1.99. Which was labeled a special limited time offer down from $9.99.... limited time before they made it cheaper I guess... The current $0.99 is all it ever should have been. As for the game; Its fairly basic. Not much brain power needed here. The only thing you might strain is your eyes..

Boring

It gets old fast, and the shapes you have to draw sometimes have to be so accurate, that I have to draw it 20 times. Make a "wheres waldo" game. That would be fun. (for free only! Not worth cash!)

Too hard to see everything

There is only one level of zoom on this. It is not enough. I found it very hard to see details, and I was squinting at the screen all the time trying to make everything out. Im sorry I bought it. I would damage my eyes if I kept playing!

Good for the value

I enjoyed this game. I finished it before deciding to comment. I found the pace mild and relaxing, a nice change from hard hitting action games. Challenging?Maybe not the hardest, but it certainly has its moments. This is a game for those seeking relaxation and calm, well worth its weight for allowing one the opportunity to "recharge" mental batteries before re-engaging in the chaotic jungle of "real-life". Btw...an advisory to Mr. Vandall... Your improper use of grammatical structure (I am AN top executive) leads me to believe you blow a little too much smoke, as a pesticious position dealing with high end clients such as Nintendo would loathe you at the helm of directing RFPs and QFRs - but as a hot shot exec such as yourself, Im sure you know precisely what Im talking about, dont you?

Juvenile

Not a worthwhile game at any price. Extremely simple and not very entertaining.

Wont Load After Update

Loved the game when it worked. Great graphics and interface but after the first update the game wont load and when I emailed the developer over a week ago, I still have not recieved a reply back.

Poor Game. UNETHICAL Sales Practices...

Gameplay is so repetative, and redundant, as to be unplayable after the first 5 minutes. Same effects, errors in tapping images, a glitch that starts the game over again, plus poor design. Missleading as to the 25 levels description, as it is the same find Waldo hunt and tap game, over, and over again. I loved these type of mystery games in my younger days, 30+ years ago... That is why I bothered purchasing this App. But, not only was the game ill-described, but the sales practices unacceptible. Noted it in the Top 25 back when it was Hot App, and also, noted the $0.99 price. Read of that same price in the reviews, and thank yous of those day(s) customers. Then Greed may have set in, with all the downloads...? I attempted to download the App, and it would not let me. Said it was being modified, and to try again soon. Well low and behold, is was then $1.99! Just minutes later. Working with clients like Nintendo, plus associated game developers, they set the bar much higher. They would not deceive customers with so many switcheroo prices. Could not help but note how many customers after my initial post, have come to agree with my sentiment of shadey pricing practices. UPDATE: I must say, I am very surprised by the reviews section of this App. I have noted here, upon reviewing the reviews a month after my purchase, other posters who have gone out of their way to give the product glowing 5 star reviews, and then for some reason, attack my review. How odd. Most if not all, are written in the exact same style. So, either the developer has a very passionate fan-base or it is the developer (or associates) attacking a customer for their opinion. Very alarming. I have purchased dozens of Apps since the store opened, and read hundreds of reviews for different products and it is ONLY here, I have seen any customer reviews attacked bt others customers. Draw your own conclusions. This developer does not return email enquiries, while other developers are/have become famous for their fast and very friendly responces. How odd.

Only worth the $0.99 I paid

This is a nicely illustrated game. Thats the only good thing I can say. It is very simple. Has a poor story line. And is completely unchallenging. Compared to other apps, this one doesnt come close to the advertised $9.95 value.

Fun

Its a fun game for .99. Much better than Everest or Little shop.

Grab it on sale!!

This is a great game thatll keep you occupied for a little while if you let it. Sure, you can tap randomly on the screen and itll just give you the things you tap on, but its far more enjoyable to actually search for things and find them on your own right. One real issue Ive found with it is that sometimes itll say I found on object when I accidentally hit it while trying to move the screen around. If there were some type of system to check for the difference between tapping once and holding and dragging that would be great, so that I know Ive actually found the items on my own, not just by chance. Ive also found some of the mini-games to be really easy, while some lack description, which made them harder only because I didnt know what I was supposed to do. Im not sure Id pay the full price for it, but for 99¢ while it was on sale, its definitely well worth it! The iPhone/iPod Touch interface is great for this, so I hope to see more and bigger searching puzzles like this in the future.

This game keeps crashing

I do like this game, for the first 60 seconds I can play it until it crashes on me. Ive tried everything I can think of, reset my ipod, checked for updates to the game and for my ipod etc. I dont know what else I can do. But I wasted my money on this for sure.

I dont understand you people.

Whats the point of this game - to find things on the screen? Wow. Really entertaining. Skip.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Not worth to buy. The site looks interesting but in the real, this game is boaring. I complete it in less than 15 minutes. Wish I can have my money bask :-(

Highly recommended!

The best "hidden objects" game I have played so far. Certainly worth more than a buck!

Easy

A little to easy and quick to finish

Awful

Boring, not original, silly gameplay. Not worth a cent!

Definitely a nice, relaxed and entertaining game

This is a great game to just pass the time while being told a story. That said, the controls should take better advantage of the touch screen interface the iPhone/iPod Touch has to offer - it felt a little clumsy to have to tap on a zoom icon, and then not be able to zoom more, or zoom less. Beyond that, cant wait for the sequel! =)

Everything a Hidden Object Game should be

The Stone of Destiny is my third HOG, after the super-polished "Buckingham Palace", and the unfortunate "Sprill". Since I had read that SoD was the very first such game for the iPhone, frankly, I was not expecting too much. What a surprise! This game is OUTSTANDING. The Indiana Jones-like storyboard which sets up each of the scenes is satisfying enough, but its the mini-puzzles that will grip your imagination. After each turn, you are given a drawing to do inside a "fire well", which you must replicate without lifting your finger. It sounds easier than it is, and though I attempted it as much as 5 times without penalty, I think I looked forward to this part of the game more than the actual touching of the objects. (Perhaps this could be a suggestion to the developer. Why not add penalties for drawing the hieroglyph wrong? The gamer could have up to 3 turns, and if on the last s/he doesnt get it right, they have to re-do the last scene, or so) The positioning of the objects is similar to any other HOG, but unlike say even the highly touted "Everest", when you expanded the screen, they were not blurry, but also, they werent always easy to spot. You will be using that Hint button. If only for the mini-puzzles, I rate this higher than Buckingham Palace, though the latter is more intricate. Gaming about an hour per day, this will take you roughly 5-6 hours to finish, so thats very good return for your investment. I think its a steal at $1.99 (the price I purchased it at), so dont hesitate to buy it at full price. Elegance has no price.
